Just in case you haven't noticed the links posted haphazardly about the website, here are the links for the new Year of the Bear Blog and mailing list. I don't have many interesting things to say, since I had given up on the idea of blogging quite some time ago; however, if you're at all interested in news related to Year of the Bear, including new publications, reviews from the editor, etc then that would be the way to go.
Also, there is a new way to support Y.O.B. You can go to the support page and donate through the Amazon Honor System--and if you should later decide that you want your money back, the donation is fully refundable for up to a week.
Welcome to Year of the Bear--a new (but not inexperienced) online literary magazine. Right now we are calling for submissions. My last project, Robot Communism, was not going very well--and I attribute this to what ending up being a constant work-in-progress. While this isn't the most terrible thing for a publication to go through, it was quite taxing attempting to renovate something that just wasn't working. For those of you who are here from that page, thank you for keeping up. You will find that Year of the Bear is a much more organized and attractive website. It is very possible that Robot Communism will be back one day--we'll see.
